Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 September 2026

This policy explains what information CoinMarketHelp collects when you visit coinmarket.help, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can do about it.

1. Who is responsible for your data

CoinMarketHelp operates the website at coinmarket.help and is the data controller for the processing described here. You can reach us about any privacy matter through our contact page.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you give us

The only information you actively provide is what you type into our contact form: your email address and the content of your message. We use it to answer you, and we keep it only as long as needed to resolve the matter.

We do not operate user accounts. There is nothing to register for, no password to set, and no profile to fill in.

2.2 Information collected automatically

Like effectively every website, our servers record technical details of each request: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, the pages you viewed, and the date and time. This is standard web server logging. We use it to keep the site running, diagnose faults, and understand aggregate traffic patterns.

2.3 Information collected by third parties

Advertising and analytics partners set their own cookies and collect their own data when you load our pages. That collection is governed by their policies, not ours. See section 5.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We use them in three categories:

You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking advertising cookies does not remove the ads; it means the ads you see are selected without reference to your browsing history.

4. Why we process your data, and on what legal basis

PurposeLegal basis (GDPR Art. 6)
Serving the website and keeping it secureLegitimate interest
Diagnosing errors and preventing abuseLegitimate interest
Answering your contact form messageLegitimate interest / performance of a request
Aggregate traffic analyticsConsent
Personalised advertisingConsent

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already happened.

5. Advertising partners

We display advertising supplied by third-party advertising networks. These partners may use cookies, device identifiers and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, and to measure ad performance.

Depending on your region and your consent choices, advertising may be personalised or non-personalised. Non-personalised ads still use limited data such as approximate location and general page content to select an appropriate ad, and still require cookies for frequency capping and fraud prevention.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not pass your email address or contact form content to advertisers.

6. Affiliate links

Some links on this site point to cryptocurrency exchanges under affiliate arrangements. When you click one, the destination exchange records that the visit came from us, typically via a referral parameter in the URL. We do not receive your personal information from the exchange — only aggregate counts of referrals and resulting sign-ups. Once you leave our site, that exchange's privacy policy applies to you, not ours.

7. How long we keep data

Server logs are retained for up to 90 days and then deleted or anonymised. Contact form correspondence is kept for up to 24 months. Data held by advertising and analytics partners is retained according to their own schedules, which we do not control.

8. International transfers

Our advertising and analytics partners operate globally, so your data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, these transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an applicable adequacy decision.

9. Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access your data, correct it, have it erased, restrict or object to processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent. If you are in California, you have the right to know what is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we do not sell personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

10. Children

This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or the law changes. The date at the top always reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced on this page.

12. Contact
